Dillon thankful for a Point

Kevin Dillon, the Aldershot manager, told BBC Radio Surrey that he was pleased with a point at Edgar Street this evening.

"We've got the point which I'm thankful for, but if you analyse the game we should be winning really.

"But we had a lot of players missing tonight, so it was a good point in the end because we scored that late, but another five minutes and we would probably have won."

Dillon had some kind words for Hereford's care-taker manager Jamie Pitman.

"Jamie has done a great job. They've given him the job to the end of the year which I find strange. Give him it or don't give him it. He's sitting here waiting really for them to make a decision.

"There will be a lot of vultures flying around here. I'm sure there will be.

"He's deserves the opportunity now. He's proved himself in five games unbeaten.

"The result against Northampton was an outstanding victory, the goals scored were terrific and then the five goals against Stockport.

"He deserves the chance to do the job. He's good kid."
