Hereford United reserve goalkeeper Dan Connor underwent hip surgery yesterday.
Connor has been out of action for several months since injuring his hip getting out of a car late last August.
It is hoped the surgery will allow Connor to resume keeping 'sooner rather than later'.
Meanwhile Janos Kovacs is expected to be out for four to six weeks.
"It's a little worse than first feared," said care-taker manager Jamie Pitman.
And Gwillan Bauza's groin strain?
"He'll probably be a couple more weeks."
