We've had them watched says Pitman

Hereford United care-taker manager Jamie Pitman is leaving nothing to chance as regards tomorrow's Cup-tie against Hythe Town.

"We've had them watched," Pitman told BBC Hereford and Worcester.

"It's going to be a tough game, don't under-estimate that at all. Anyone is capable of beating anyone on the day.

"Now the biggest thing for us is that we don't take it lightly and we do exactly what we've been doing game in, game out, over the last four weeks because we've been excellent and turned a corner.

"We need to put out our best team and our best team will play against a team that's going to give us some problems. And they will do that. It's their cup final.

"It's important for us to get through the cup because of financial rewards which are good for the club. And you want to get into the next round because it's a great competition to be in."

Finally the odds on a Hereford win tomorrow have hardly changed all week.

Best price is still 2/9 available with BetFred and Ladbrooks, best price for a draw is 6/1 with Stan James.

A win for Hythe is 14/1 with Victor Chandler, Stan James and William Hill.
