Hythe will be aided by Gillingham boss Andy Hessenthaler as they prepare to face the Bulls on Saturday.
Hessenthaler, who has suffered defeat to the Kent League side while in charge of Dover, has told the BBC that he will give them all the help he can: “I'll give them as much information and as many DVDs as I can on Hereford. I want them to get through to the second round.
"I was on the end of a cup defeat at Hythe when I was at Dover. They've got a togetherness that's pulling them through. If I can be of any help I will put my assistance to them. Give me a call."
