Oxford are to loan defender Mark Creighton to Wrexham. The former Kidderminster man has struggled to get used to the Football League after their summer promotion. The U's have signed Plymouth striker Steven MacLean on loan for a month. The 28 year old cost the Pilgrims £500,000 in early 2008. Bradford have signed Watford defender Rob Kiernan on loan until January. The 19 year old comes in as cover for Steve Williams who has a groin strain.
Bury have signed Blackburn defender Gavin Gunning on loan after the Shakers loaned Ben Futcher out yesterday. Gunning spent the second half of last season at Rotherham, playing 24 games including the play-off final. Gillingham are reported to be signing Peterboro pair Chris Whelpdale and Charlie Lee on loan in a bid to turn around their fortunes. Gills chairman Paul Scally has banned the media from the club for the week after negative press following their FA Cup loss.
Accrington are to offer new deals to Ray Putterill, Jimmy Ryan, and Andy Parkinson. Both Putterill and Parkinson are out of contract in January, while Ryan is out of contract in June. Ebbsfleet's former chairman says their MyFC owners have breached the terms of their takeover and he is looking for people to take the club from the failing website.
