Crewe have confirmed that goalkeeper Steve Phillips can go out on loan after Rhys Taylor agreed to a loan deal with the Railwaymen until the end of the season. Torquay's Elliott Benyon is claimed to be a target of Dagenham, who had a £40,000 bid turned down last week. Swindon are also said to be interested with their local press saying the Gulls want £75,000. Shrewsbury have extended the loan of Bolton forward Temitope Obadeyi until January 8th. He has played seven times for the Shrews in his month so far, scoring once.
