This day in 2002 a rampant Bulls team beat Woking 5-0 at Edgar Street with the goals coming from Michael Rose (2), Ben Smith (2) and Steve Guinan.
The first came just before the half-hour mark when Rose threaded a free kick through a crowd of players from wide on the right. Then, barely five minutes later, repeated the routine as the Woking wall was still lining up to give The Bulls a two-goal advantage at the break.
Woking manager, Glenn Cotterill introduced two subs after the interval but one, Anthony Allman, only saw brief action as he was soon dismissed for a wild challenge on Danny Williams.
With fifteen minutes remaining, twenty year-old Rob Purdie opened up the Woking defense for Guinan to head home. Another Purdie pass put Ben Smith in for the fourth and the former Yeovile man struck again in the dying minutes to complete the rout.
