Former Hereford United loanee Robbie Threlfall is likely to be in the Bradford City squad to face his former team on Saturday. He had two spells with the Bulls, the first of which started in early November 2007.
"I didn’t lose for eight games and then I broke my ankle and had to go back to Liverpool for treatment," Threlfall told the Telegraph and Argus.
"But I got back for when we got promoted which was fantastic.
"I was there again when we got up to League One but we never really had the best of teams. But we had a good side when we went up and played some great football.
"We had some really good loan signings like Gary Hooper, who is now playing up front for Celtic. I’ve got good memories of my time there."
Jamie Pitman was the club physio at Edgar Street when Threlfall returned for his second loan spell
"I knew him more as a player up to then and he didn’t strike me as the manager type. But we knew he had the coaching badges because he would take the odd (training) session."
