Best Performance of the Season said Pitman

Hereford United manager Jamie Pitman has declared that the 3-0 win over Cheltenham this afternoon was the best performance by the Bulls this season so far.

"Without doubt," Pitman told BBC Hereford and Worcester. "The last one was probably Stockport away.

"Today we were excellent throughout. All over the park.

"What we try and install in the players is a great work-rate, great committment to what we are doing and we've got a great honest bunch of players who work very hard.

"I thought Kenny Lunt was excellent, controlled the game for us, got on the ball, broke things up.

"Waide Fairhurst is a very good finisher. He took his chances very well.

"Harry Pell has come in on-loan from Bristol Rovers. The two games has come on in he does excellent. We decided to chuck him in today and he's been very energetic. He can carry the ball very well and he's got a pass and a shot in him."

Pitman was asked why Hereford can't repeat their good away form at Edgar Street.

"We have repeated it at home but we've made silly errors. We've only lost one or two at home.

"If we win away from home and draw at home for the rest of the season, I'll take that."
