Fairhurst pleased with Debut for Bulls

Waide Fairhurst started his loan spell with Hereford United with two goals, one with each foot, to his credit at Whaddon Road this afternoon. The Doncaster based striker only joined the Bulls late on Thursday.

"It's great to get out and play games," Fairhurst told BBC Hereford and Worcester.

"I've been sat on the bench at Doncaster and it's just great to get out and show what I can do as a striker and a player. I only came down on Friday to train.

"Today on a difficult surface we got the ball down and passed it.

"I only got the nod on Thursday to come down here for a month so we'll see how things go.

"What I've seen already from the signing to this game I'm really enjoying it."
