The Nasty Boys

Tuesday night's game at Edgar Street will see the two worst disciplinary records in League Two meet.

While the Bulls have had five players dismissed in League action, Northampton have had seven walk including one in the reverse fixture at Sixfields. Three players will miss tomorrow's game due to suspension with Janos Kovacs missing for the Bulls, and both Abdul Osman and Shaun Harrad missing for the visitors.

Between the two sides they contribute 20% of all the red cards issued in League Two this season, with Cobblers boss Ian Sampson getting frustrated with red cards stopping his side turning draws into wins in recent games. He told the Herald and Post:

"I'd settle for 1-0 with a scrappy goal and a poor performance. The last two performances we have had, we put ourselves in a position to win the game but just couldn't see it through.

"The frustrating thing is that in general play we've not really looked like we are going to score a goal. From set plays we have looked dangerous, so if we can try and create some chances in open play then it would improve our performance.

"We've had four draws on the trot and we need to start turning them into wins. It is probably a must win game now; every game you are heaping pressure on yourselves because of the draws we've had in the past two weeks, so you want three points."
