Rotherham's new manager, Andy Scott, thought his side dominated this afternoon's game against Hereford United.
"Everything conspired against us," he said. "That's the most dominant I have seen a team in League Two in my time as a manager.
"We were very very comfortable and created so many chances, countless blocks on the line, others that bounced the wrong way. We just couldn't get the ball over the line, but that's how it goes.
"Hereford came here on the back of a recent win against Chesterfield and we knew it was going to be tough but the back line coped well and the midfield four worked hard but it was disappointing that we didn`t make the most of some of our opportunities and didn`t take the right option when we needed to
"The lads were fantastic and I think the crowd appreciated that, but sometimes it doesn't drop for you, but we are still in the hunt and I've had a lot of positives out of it.
"There are a few areas that we have to tighten up on but I thought our front two completely dominated their back four and gave them a lot of problems. It's a good starting point for me, but there is still a lot of work to be done."
