Crawley have loaned full back Scott Griffiths from Peterboro for an initial month. The 25 year old former Dagenham man has played just 11 times for the Posh since agreeing a permanent deal there in January 2010. Accrington boss John Coleman believes the club can remain at the Crown Ground if certain new facilities are built. The club have previously suggested they would like to move into a new stadium within three years.
Port Vale are trialling former Bulls trialist Albert Jarrett. The winger is still a free agent, and has told the Staffordshire press that he wants to sign for the Valiants. Plymouth fans will protest at this weekend's game with Port Vale with a green card protest rather than the originally planned red cards. Club bidder Kevin Heaney has said he will not walk away from his deal to buy the club, claiming to be the 'only viable deal in town'.
Swindon have confirmed that striker Leon Clarke has joined Chesterfield on a three month loan. He is expected to depart on a more permanent basis in the January transfer window. Former Bulls loanee Matthew Lund has been recalled from his loan at Oldham as he was not playing enough games there. The Stoke youngster was due to stay at the club for three months.
Macclesfield have signed Fleetwood striker George Donnelly on a months loan. The 23 year old scored eight times in 23 games for Stockport last season but has started only 15 games in 18 months since a six-figure move from Plymouth. Former Bulls man Stephen O'Leary has joined Dunstable Town. The 26 year old injury plagued midfielder spent the end of last season at Conf South side Borehamwood after a brief spell at Bradford, but is now three tiers lower.
Rotherham boss Andy Scott has been named Manager of the Month for August. Dagenham defender Mark Arber has been named Player of the Month.
