We shouldn't conceed a goal like that thought Purdie

Despite losing this afternoon Rob Purdie felt a return of three wins, a draw and a defeat from Hereford United's last five games had been reasonable but he was disappointed that the Bulls hadn't dealt with Torquay's first goal which came from a free kick near the corner.

"I'm the near post man," Purdie told BBC Hereford and Worcester.

"I think I've been pulled back to mark which probably created a bit of a gap.

"We'll have to have a look at where the ball was and where David was, we're not sure yet.

"We shouldn't conceed a goal like that."

Hereford changed formation at the start of the second-half after coming in 2-0 down. Benoit Dalibard (Bruno) and Andy Todd (who had a dead leg) were replaced by Yoann Arquin and Joe Heath.

"Second-half, we pushed on, changed formation, and decided to go for it.

"We got tighter around the pitch, we played better football, we did a lot better so we got to take some heart from that.

"Nathan and Yoann did well trying to contain their back two.

"Three wins, a draw and a loss is a good return from our last five games. Everyone feels a lot closer now. We're working hard for each other and ourselves.

"So we have to keep that going for Crawley."
