Hereford United's Rob Purdie admitted after this afternoon's draw with Crawley that the Bulls would have taken a point before the game.
"I don't think there was much quality in it apart perhaps defensively," Purdie told BBC Hereford and Worcester.
"They were very direct, a lot of balls in the air.
"I think we probably deserved to go in one up, it was a bit disappointing to concede so close to half-time.
"Then they've come out and it was a bit of a bombardment but it was good to see we had the fight to keep them away.
"I thought we were quite strong against a big strong team.
"We would have taken a point before the game."
