During November each year, Movember is responsible for the sprouting of moustaches on thousands of men’s faces in the UK and around the world. The aim of which is to raise vital funds and awareness for men’s health, specifically prostate and testicular cancer.
On November 1st former Hereford United player Gareth Davies registered at Movember.com with a clean-shaven face and then for the rest of the month will join in the TOP LIP hair growing marathon. With so many men neglecting their health, this campaign is a great fun way to raise awareness for men to take more care.
Two years ago Gareth helped his local team Rhosgoch to help raise money for his former Wales team mate John Hartson's charity. The club raised £2500 for their efforts and Gareth is going it alone this year to raise as much money as possible.
