Hereford United director of Football, Gary Peters, has said that he was disappointed with the booing of defender Michael Townsend when he came on as a late substitute at Torquay last Saturday.
Interviewed by Tim Russon, Peters felt a return of ten points from five games since he came to Edgar Street was promotion standard.
"We'll win the league with that, it's 92 points," said Peters.
Peters then started to talk about the attitude of the players, even those not in the starting eleven, which he felt has been 'tremendous'. He then had praise for Townsend.
"He's worked his socks off, he's really worked hard.
"We've had him on the subs bench, he's come on and he just wants to work.
"I was just a bit disappointed on Saturday when he got warmed up to come on - because Tom Barkhuizen was struggling - so Michael came on and went up front to try and worry them a bit.
"And some of the fans were booing him.
"I didn't enjoy that bit. That's probably the first bit I haven't enjoyed since I joined Hereford.
"He's one of the players who is going to be fighting with us to try and keep Hereford in the League this season.
"We don't need that reaction to any of the players."
