Bulls striker Nathan Elder has hit back at Darren Purse's claims that he 'went down easy'.
He told his Twitter followers: "He almost snapped my ankle in half. Can't lunge in like that & stay on the pitch."
Meanwhile, Plymouth's fans have been questioning Carl Fletcher's statement that he may appeal the red card given to Purse. Various contributors to their PASOTI forum have had their say after seeing the video evidence:
'I can't have any complaints, he missed the ball, both feet were high and caught the player in both ankles, easily could have broken something, very, very, rash.'
'That's ridiculous, if that's not a red card what the hell is?'
'this is unbelievable, the fact it was even questioned by some is totally baffling.'
'No-one should be defending it either or deflecting blame to the attacker for what followed the contact. It was a numbskull park players tackle, end of.'
