Plymouth Argyle manager Carl Fletcher has said he is considering an appeal against the red card shown to Darren Purse after the Millwall man took out Hereford's Nathan Elder in a tackle that could have inflicted a serious injury on the striker.
"I've seen it on the video," Fletcher told BBC Radio Devon.
"I've spoke to the referee.
"I'm not sure it's a sending off to be honest but the referee seems to think it is."
Asked about a possible appear Fletcher said "We'll see.
"I'll have to speak to people because I'm not sure if you appeal you get another game. It's possible. We'll have another look at it in detail.
"This is my arguement all the times with referees and them making decisions. They've never played football before.
"It's two clubs bottom of the table, fighting for everything.
"You are going to have tackles - that's probably the first foul he's done."
