The Vital Plymouth site have written their own match review of the day's proceedings.
It's an unusual view, somewhat at odds to the reports elsewhere, where they call the Bulls "one of those niggly teams who take the spirit of the footballing law to the extreme - a little nudge here, a push there - all in front of Linington who somehow rewrote the FA rule book during this game."
An unusual description of the Bulls, while on the penalty: "Feeney looked like he was brought down in the box; the linesman had a clear view but didn't give it but the ref could somehow see through a crowded penalty area and pointed to the spot. Nevermind, we'll take a soft pen!"
And finally the 'tackle' from Darren Purse: "The ref allowed Hourihane to be fouled by Nathan Elder at a drop ball, I say fouled it was more like assault, and Elder attempted to march through the Argyle team with the ball until he hit the Purse brickwall. It looked a fair tackle to me but then I'm not a professional referee and nor is Linington I hear you say."
