Three Match Ban For Purse

Plymouth Argyle have decided not to appeal against the red card given to Darren Purse for a potentially horrific challenge on Hereford's Nathan Elder last Saturday.

"After careful consideration of all the facts and having carefully viewed the incident, we have decided not to appeal against Darren's dismissal," said a club spokesperson.

Had they appealed and failed, Purse would have been given a four match ban.

He will now miss three games.
