BBC Hereford and Worcester's Trevor Owens is seeking fans to contribute to a programme on the 40th anniversary of the FA Cup win over Newcastle:
BBC Hereford and Worcester are making a special programme to mark the 40th anniversary of Hereford United’s historic FA Cup third-round replay win over Newcastle United.
While we hope to talk to many of the key figures involved at the time – manager, players and other leading characters – we are particularly keen to speak to some of those fans who were there on the day.
Were you at Edgar Street when non-league Hereford dumped the first division giants Newcastle out of the Cup? If you were, and you have a good story to tell, we would like to hear from you. We want your stories of the lengths you went to get a ticket, or to get to the game and what you did to celebrate the famous victory.
