Former Darlington manager Mark Cooper has slammed departed chairman Raj Singh over his budget claims. Singh claimed that the club was running a wage bill close to £1million but Cooper, speaking to the NLP, claims the budget was closer to £600,000 on the figures he was told. Cooper has told the press he will not take charge of Kettering again until their situation is made clear. The club face Conference chiefs today to find out what sanctions they may face for their current problems.
Northwich's ground has been bought by a neighbouring chemical company, who intend to bulldoze the site to expand their operations. The company say they will speak to the club to discuss a short-term deal, but there will be no long term future for the club on the site. Crewe are reported to have rejected a bid from Ipswich for teenager Nick Powell. The bid is claimed to have been £2million.
Barnet have extended the contract of Mauro Vilhete until the end of next season. The 18 year old winger was the club's youngest ever player when he debuted as a 16 year old. New Bristol Rovers boss Mark McGhee says he will work with the exisiting coaching staff at the club, rather than bring in his own people, while he admits that his task this season is simply to avoid relegation.

Macclesfield have allowed teenage striker Vinny Mukendi to rejoin Southport on a months loan. The 19 year old scored twice in eight games during an earlier spell with the Sandgrounders. Southend have amended manager Paul Sturrock's contract so that it is a rolling deal. The Scot's stay with the Shrimpers was due to expire in the summer, but it will now roll into next season.
