The Bulls lost today's game at Edgar Street to Southend 3-2.
A dire first half performance effectively handed the game to the Shrimpers, but they were fortunate they kept eleven men on the pitch when their keeper should have gone in conceding the penalty for the otherwise ineffective Yoann Arquin to score. Nathan Elder scrambled a late second to set up a grandstand finish but it was too late. The enlarged crowd appreciated the second half endeavour at the end.
