Burton have resigned former keeper Adam Legzdins on loan for 28 days. The 25 year old left the Brewers for Derby in the summer but has made only two appearances for the Rams. As part of the deal, the Brewers were loaned Rams keeper Ross Atkins, but the youngster has come under fire in recent weeks from fans. Caretaker boss Gary Rowett is second favourite for the permanent job, with Mark Robins favourite and Paul Buckle also in the running.

Rotherham chairman Tony Stewart says he will welcome an application from former Millers manager Mark Robins as he has no-one in mind for the job. Robins left the Millers for Barnsley but was sacked in the summer. The bookies have Robins as odds-on favourite for the job ahead of Brian Laws. Crewe are reported to have accepted a £300,000 offer from Man City for 16 year old midfielder Dan Smith.

Bradford chief Mark Lawn believes the club needs to secure 50 points to stay up. The Bantams say they had a 'constructive' meeting with referees chief David Allison yesterday after complaints over ref Darren Deadman. No Bulls in the Team of the Week. Torquay, Dagenham, and Gillingham all have two players nominated in the XI.

The Football League have appointed Richard Bowker CBE as its Independent Non-Executive Director. The 46 year old replaces Ian Richie, who quit the role last month to join the egg chasers' governing body. The League's board is made of chairman Greg Clarke, the independent director, three Championship representatives, two from League One, and League Two's sole representative - Barnet chief Tony Kleanthous.

One time Bulls trialist Matthew Barnes-Homer has joined Swedish professional side Ostersunds FK for the summer after just five games with Nuneaton. The former Kidderminster man cannot sign for an English side in the top five divisions this season. Middlesborough chief executive Neil Bausor says the club has needed loans of around £1million a month from the parent company to subsidise its current wage bill.

Lincoln's board have issued a statement to 'condemn publically' a planned fans protest at their next home match on Saturday.The statement adds "It seems that some of these 'supporters' are motivated by a desire to undermine the Board of Directors and to put the Club's Blue Square Bet Premier status at risk in the process is, quite simply, a disgrace." The club is also investigating a spoof Twitter account in the name of manager David Holdsworth that has received complaints.

Macclesfield have extended the loan of Sheff Weds keeper Richard O'Donnell until the end of the season. Both of their contracted keepers, ex-Bull Jose Veiga and Steve Collis, remain on the injured list.
