Rotherham have made manager Andy Scott the third managerial casualty in League Two in three days.
The former Brentford man has seen the Millers win just one of their last eight games, slipping down to 11th in the League Two table. The move comes just ten days after chairman Tony Stewart called Scott's managerial reign a 'long term plan'.
They have placed assistant manager Darren Patterson, formerly manager at Oxford, in temporary charge.
