Bulls Looking For Some Birthday Cheer

After a few disappointing results, several Bulls players will be looking for three points as late Birthday presents.

Along with David Cornell and Benoit Dalibard, who both turned 21 last week, defender Ben Purkiss turned 28 on Sunday, and striker Nathan Elder turned 27 today.

Elder won League Two with Brentford just three years ago, but by the time the title was lifted his season was over after being given a fractured eye socket by then Rotherham defender Pablo Mills at the Don Valley Stadium that threatened his entire career.

The challenge resulted in a two night hospital stay for the striker, and the loss of sight in his left eye for several weeks, but not even a yellow card for the defender whose recent actions with Crawley have brought national headlines. Mills is currently scheduled to return from his current ban before the Bulls' trip to face Crawley, but a further ban is expected after he received an additional FA charge.

Two more Bulls celebrate their birthdays in April, with both Yoann Arquin and Delroy Facey hoping for their presents to be gift-wrapped by the opposition defences.
