Crawley have complied with a deadline to increase their ground capacity by building a new grandstand - in just a week.
The new East Stand has been built on a former terrace at the ground, holds just over 2,100, and cost £1million. It has been constructed after nearly a year on the drawing board, with the club having a May 1st Football League deadline to improve their ground after winning promotion last summer.
The stand is of basic construction, with struts holding the roof up obstructing views along the length of the stand, but the 12 row structure has been built on a budget with half the funding coming from a grant.
