Rob Purdie should be fit enough to take some part in next Saturday's match against Northampton according to manager Richard O'Kelly.
"Rob Purdie was very close to playing last night," O'Kelly told BBC Hereford and Worcester.
"He's trained the last couple of days but it was probably four or five days too early. So hopefully he will be in contention next week."
One player who did return to the starting eleven last night was goalkeeper Adam Bartlett.
"Bartlett since I've been at the club has been outstanding.
"He's played one reserve game, in training he has done really well.
"Dave hasn't done anything really wrong but I felt it was time for a change just to freshen things up a little bit.
"Bartlett is a club character, he talks well.
"I had no quarms about putting him in."
