Results Round-Up

Crawley beat Northampton 3-1 in the game of note to Bulls fans in League Two tonight.

The result puts the Red Devils third on goal difference, with the Cobblers still not mathematically safe after straight 3-1 losses. Elsewhere, Swindon will have to wait longer to confirm promotion after losing 2-1 at Aldershot. The Robins are nine points inside the top three with nine points to play for. while Shrewsbury's 1-0 win over Port Vale puts them four points clear in second.

In the Conference, Hayes and Yeading are all but confirmed relegated after Newport drew with Darlington and Telford beat Tamworth leaving the merged club to need the footballing equivalent of multiple snookers. Luton beat Ebbsfleet 3-0, with ex-Bull Stuart Fleetwood scoring twice, to close their play-off gap to two points with a game in hand on fifth placed Kidderminster.

In the Championship, Reading beat Nottm Forest 1-0 while West Ham could only draw 1-1 with Bristol City meaning the Royals are promoted to the Premier League and the Bulls can claim a £50,000 clause in Mathieu Manset's sale deal.
