Results Round-Up

The Bulls have closed the safety gap to three points after today's result, but still sit on the foot of the table with Macclesfield (36 points) needing to lose by six goals to change that tonight. Barnet's (39pts) poor run continued with a 2-0 loss at Cheltenham, while Plymouth moved up to 41 points. Dagenham joined Northampton on 42 points after an 88th minute equaliser against Burton to claim a 1-1 draw, with the Cobblers facing Oxford tonight. Bradford moved up to 43 with a 2-0 win over nine man Southend.

At the top Swindon now cannot finish outside the top seven after a 1-0 win at Morecambe. Torquay are second after beating Accrington 1-0, with Crawley third after a 1-1 draw with Crewe. The Shrews can take that third spot with a win tonight, and they sit two points ahead of fifth placed Southend, with Cheltenham sixth and five points inside the play-offs. Oxford can join them with a win tonight. Gillingham's faint hopes of a play-off spot slimmed after a 2-2 draw at Bristol Rovers, while Rotherham should also plan for next season despite a 2-1 win at Wimbledon.

In the Conference Wrexham lost 1-0 at home to Alfreton to throw away their game in hand on leaders Fleetwood and remain eight points behind. In the other game in the afternoon, Forest Green beat Ebbsfleet 3-1.
