Mehew Wants Weir Decision

Gloucester boss David Mehew wants released Bulls utility man Tyler Weir to make a decision on his future.

The 21 year old is mulling over a number of offers for the coming season, with Mehew having told him he wants an answer by Monday night when the Tigers begin pre-season training.

Mehew has only made one signing this summer, and is only waiting on an answer from Weir. He told the Gloucester Citizen:

"We've made Tyler an offer and now we have to get to the stage where it needs to be sorted one way or another. He's had interest from other clubs but he has told us previously that he wants to sign for us – it's up to Tyler now."

Weir, who made only nine appearances for the Bulls, played a total of 46 times for the Tigers in two loan spells and ended last season at Worcester, who are also understood to have made a move for his services.
