Kidderminster say they are still negotiating with former Bulls striker Steve Guinan in a bid to keep him playing at Aggborough. The veteran is combining playing with his management role at Hartpury College, with assistant boss Gary Whild admitting that Guinan is focusing on his managerial role more and more: "He certainly contributed last year but, in all fairness to him at the moment, he has a lot going on and is focussing on his career after he finishes playing because he rightly wants to coach and manage."

Grimsby have appointed former manager Alan Buckley to their coaching staff. The 61 year old had a 30 year managerial career that included three stints in the Blundell Park hotseat, and he will coach in the club's Centre of Excellence. Morecambe's pies, voted as the best in the Football League for two years running, are now being sold in Harrods. The £2.50 pies are £10 in the upmarket shop, with the club saying they sell up to 1,200 per game.

Rotherham boss Steve Evans has ruled out a move for former Bull Lionel Ainsworth, but did have talks with the winger. Ainsworth took to Twitter to deny he had signed a deal anywhere after claims that Luton had secured his signature. Alfreton have released defender Adie Hawes so he can join Evo-Stik side Worksop Town for regular games. The 25 year old was midway through a two year deal at the Impact Arena but made only four appearances last season.

Southport manager Liam Watson has confirmed that defender Andy Owens has turned down a new contract with the Sandgrounders. The 22 year old wants to turn full time with both Cambridge and Gateshead chasing his signature, though Southport want a fee for the former Liverpool trainee. The Conference hope to ratify the delayed "Budget Monitoring Scheme" early next year once the details over Directors loans have been confirmed.

Ebbsfleet midfielder Michael West is in talks with three Football League sides. The out of contract 21 year old will earn the Fleet a fee, while boss Liam Daish has confirmed that they lost the services of striker Calum Willock to Dover as the Conf South side could offer him more money.
