Former Hereford United striker, Gary Hooper, has been described as 'world class' by his current manager at Celtic.
Hooper scored the Scottish club's opening goal in their 3-2 win at Spartak Moscow.
"That’s the most special goal I’ve ever scored," said Hooper.
"To go 1-0 up in the Champions League away from home against a tough side is the best goal of my career so far."
In his post match interview manager Neil Lennon heaped praise on Hooper.
"Hooper was just magnificent and the catalyst for a lot of the good things we did," he said.
