Forest Green are third after beating Stockport 4-1, with the Dragons fourth and Dartford fifth. Early pace setters Tamworth and Telford played out a goalless draw to sink into mid-table.
Down the bottom Cambridge moved out of the bottom four with a 2-0 win over Macclesfield, with Barrow replacing them after a 2-1 home loss to Lincoln. Nuneaton are bottom after conceding late in their 1-0 loss at Kidderminster, while Ebbsfleet gave themselves hope by beating fellow strugglers Hyde 3-2. Braintree beat Gateshead 2-1 to keep themselves clear, moving above Southport who lost 1-0 at Mansfield.
