Exiles To Come Looking For A Win

Newport boss Justin Edinburgh has told the press he intends to take three points from their trip to Edgar Street tomorrow.

After their win over Forest Green on Boxing Day, he told the press: "That is gone now and we head for Hereford who will be gunning for us as has been the case all season with teams who want our scalp. As in every game we will prepare and try and go out to win the game, we're not a team that looks for draws and we don't play that kind of football."

The Exiles took 1,029 fans to the Gumpers, and expect a similar number to travel to Edgar Street despite home gates falling in recent weeks:

"The supporters have been super. When the players come out for a game, look around an away ground and see that kind of support it can only lift the whole place."

"And I am sure that is what drove us on that extra yard, that extra tackle, you could not fault them, it's up to us to give them something to shout about - we are doing our best."

On the injury front, striker Danny Crow is back in training after two months out but is not yet considered fully match fit.
