News Round-Up

Telford have named former Bull Graham Hyde as their new Assistant Manager after they parted company with previous no.2 Mike Davies left to concentrate on his business interests. Hyde left Boston last month after acting as no.2 to Jason Lee. The Bucks have also signed defender Joe Lamplough on non-contract terms. The former Hull trainee also had a brief spell with Mansfield a couple of years ago and was more recently with Kettering.

Cambridge Director of Football Jez George says the club is yet to receive an offer big enough for striker Tom Elliott. The 23 year old, who left Stockport in the summer, has netted 11 goals in 19 Conference games. Plymouth are reported to have a three man shortlist for their manager's job. Current Bury boss Kevin Blackwell, former Chesterfield man John Sheridan, and ex-Rochdale chief Keith Hill are said to be on the list.

Northampton say they have pulled out of the race to sign Kidderminster striker Jamille Matt as the chase has become an auction. The Cobblers made three bids for the player 12 months ago without success. Oxford could become secondary tenants in their Kassam Stadium home after co-tenants London Welsh announced plans to buy the stadium themselves. The U's have already complained about the state of the pitch this season following the rugby side's move to the ground in the summer.

Bradford report they made around £200,000 last season. The Bantams say they expect a similar profit this term after reaching the League Cup semi-final, having budgeted for a £600,000 loss in the summer as they aimed for promotion. Notts County say they will wait to the summer to sign Luton midfielder Andre Boucard for free if they cannot agree a fee with the Hatters in the transfer window. Boucard is out of contract in the summer with the Hatters looking to recoup the £25,000 they paid for him.

Telford are to sign midfielder Gerard Kinsella on a months loan from Fleetwood Town. The former Everton trainee, 21, is yet to make his first team debut. Lincoln have released striker Adam Boyd at the end of his short term deal. The former Hartlepool man made only one sub appearances for the first team after signing six weeks ago.

Nuneaton's move to sign Coventry defender Jordan Willis has collapsed. The deal was all but done, but now Sky Blues boss Mark Robins wants the player to get experience at a higher level. Hyde have signed midfielder Mark Allott on a short term deal. The 35 year old left Chesterfield by mutual consent in November and has over 600 senior appearances to his name.
