Wrexham become the first side to reach the 50 point mark, and return to the top of the table, after winning 2-1 at Alfreton in a stormy match at the Impact Arena. The Dragons had forward Danny Wright sent off, while their assistant boss Billy Barr and Alfreton manager Nicky Law were sent to the stands after falling out with the referee. Luton thrashed Barrow 6-1, including a goal for Janos Kovacs, to move back up to fifth with the Bluebirds naming only two subs.
Southport beat Lincoln 4-2 to move into the top half of the table, while former Bull Waide Fairhurst scored twice as Macclesfield won 3-0 at Braintree in front of just 502 fans.
