Braintree will hold a pitch inspection on Friday morning to determine whether Saturday's game will go ahead.
With the Bulls travelling on Friday morning, boss Martin Foyle confirmed to Wednesday's Fans Forum that the Iron will inspect their ground before departure.
No further rain or snow is expected in the area until early on Saturday morning, but there was some heavy rain in the area this afternoon. The pitch drainage issues reported earlier in the week remain, with the surface still currently in a poor state.
