Bulls Hope For Bumper Gate On Tuesday

Hereford United are hopeful of a bumper gate on Tuesday evening when high-flying Mansfield Town come to Edgar Street.

The highest attendance for a Conference match at ES this season is currently 2902. That was for the visit of Kidderminster on Boxing Day.

However this could be topped on Tuesday with Mansfield needing a win to go above Kidderminster.

1 Kidderminster 45 38 90
2 Mansfield 44 38 89

The Stags took around 1,000 supporters to Braintree on Saturday only to see the home team win 2-1.

They have been given half the Cargill (Edgar Street) stand and the Blackfriars End for Tuesday's match. That's 439 seats and 1120 terrace places.

Martin Foyle, the Hereford United manager, is looking forward to the game.

"They've got to come here to win the League."

As well as Mansfield supporters there could be a few from Kidderminster at the game.

Former Bull Steve Guinan, now with Kidderminster, has already said he hoping to be at the game.

For those who can't make it there will be full match commentary on BBC Hereford and Worcester with Keith Hall and Dan Connor.
