A medal awarded to former Bulls keeper Fred Potter has sold at auction in Ludlow.
The 1965/66 Division Four Championship medal, won by Potter with Doncaster, went for £650. Potter subsequently helped the Bulls into the Football League in 1972, being named Player of the Year for the 1971/2 season and cup run where he kept 38 clean sheets.
A few other Bulls-related items were up for auction, including an England u20 signed shirt that went for £42. Amongst those having signed the shirt, from the 2003 FIFA World Youth Championship, was Chris Carruthers, who made 11 appearances for the u20 side including one marking Cristiano Ronaldo against Portugal.
