Conf South side Dorchester Town have slashed their playing budget for the coming season. The Magpies will have a budget of just £2,500 a week to include all players and manager Phil Simkin. Chester have agreed to sign Accrington striker Craig Lindfield when his contract expires at the end of June. The 24 year old scored twice in 33 games for Stanley this season, and had a loan spell with the old Chester club in 2008.

Stewart Day is the new chairman at Bury after he completed a takeover of the club. A statement last night says the club have settled their tax debts and PFA loans and that the club must never end up in the same position again, before stating that they want the club to get to the Championship. Ebbsfleet's takeover will be completed today, with new owners KEH promising a £100,000 transfer kitty for new manager Steve Brown.

Kidderminster have announced that midfielder Keith Briggs will leave the club. The 31 year old was in his second spell with the club, and is reported to be seeking a return north. Nuneaton say midfielders Simon Forsdick and Danny Sleath have signed new contracts with the club for the coming season.

Halifax are to offer players a chance to win a contract with the club - for a £60 fee. They will hold two days of trials at the club with the offer of a contract to the best player, but participants will have to pay the fee for a chance to impress. Torquay have launched a membership scheme for fans that cannot get to regular games or are out of work. Exiled fans can pay £50 to £75 and get matchday tickets for as little as £10, while out of work fans get membership for free and £10 tickets.

Tamworth will sign Gillingham full back Jack Evans when his contract expires at the end of June. The 20 year old made only one appearance for the Gills this season, but played 15 times for Dartford in a loan spell to the end of the season.
