Bulls boss Martin Foyle has told the Hereford Times that a tribunal will decide the fee for Ryan Bowman's move to York.
The striker completed his move at the weekend, with Foyle telling the paper: “It will go to a tribunal. York have offered a certain amount and have signed him on, which they are entitled to do.
“But it’s a little disappointing as it stops anyone else coming in for him.”
He also told the paper that he wasn't expecting to do any deals himself quickly: “It’s going to be quiet for a while and we just have to sit and wait. I spoke to Richard Brodie, who was with me at York, but he’s gone to Gateshead for a big wage and a signing-on fee.
“I’ve spoken to so many players but the top-10 clubs can offer 52-week contracts. It’s going to be hard building a team again but I always saw this as a three-year project and thought that the second year would be the most difficult.”
Foyle also stated that there had been interest, but no firm bids, for Sam Clucas.
