The earlier suggested route to Lincoln involved a trip anti-clockwise around Nottingham.
BN has, today, received information that this route is currently hampered by several major road works and our advice is, therefore, to travel south from Birmingham on the M6 to join the M69 from M6 junction 2. At the junction with the M1, join the M1 (North - Nottingham) and then leave again at M1 J21A to join the A46 (Leicester North, Newark). Continue on the A46 around Newark following signs for Licoln to approach Lincoln as in the earlier directions.
