Lincoln have confirmed that defender Andrew Boyce has joined Scunthorpe on loan ahead of a permanent January deal.
The former Gainsborough defender moves to Glanford Park alongside former Trinity chairman Peter Swann, after a successful 18 month spell with the Imps. Meanwhile fellow defender Luke Foster has faced court this week after being detained by Police.
The 28 year old was arrested for driving offences, and pleaded with magistrates to keep his licence in order to be able to travel to Lincoln from his Barnsley home, and keep his job with the Imps. He will return to the court in early December.
Up front, in the absence of Bulls loanee Chris Sharp, the Imps are expected to utilise former Bulls Marlon Jackson and Waide Fairhurst. Jackson, on loan from Bury, is yet to open his account in five games for the Imps so far. Fairhurst, who played 19 times for the Bulls in the 10/11 season, scored twice in the opening game of the season but has not scored since in being restricted to eight further appearances due to injury.
The Bulls won the reverse fixture at the end of September, 1-0 with Chris Bush netting the winner late on. Imps top scorer Ben Tomlinson, with five goals this season, was subbed off by boss Gary Simpson rather than being sent off as he clashed with several Bulls defenders.
