Chester have announced that manager Neil Young has left the club by mutual consent.
Young had taken the reformed side to three successive Championships as they rose back through the divisions, but find themselves currently three points the wrong side of the relegation line in the Conference.
The club are inviting applications for their next boss, with a deadline of Saturday.
