Kidderminster have named Andy Thorn as their new manager.
The 47 year old former Wimbledon and Crystal Palace defender spent nearly 18 months as manager at Coventry, during which time they were relegated from the Championship in his only full season, winning just 13 of his 60 games in charge.
The appointment has not gone down well with Harriers fans, with Thorn signing a one year rolling contract, but chairman Mark Serrell told their official site: “I’ve known about Andy and his qualities for quite some time and once we were presented with the challenge of finding a new manager, he was at the forefront of my mind.
“His contacts within the game are exceptional the entire Board have been simply blown away by his enthusiasm and desire to succeed both personally and for us here at Kidderminster.
“He knows what we want to achieve and shares that ambition totally."
