Halifax have sold striker Dan Gardner to Chesterfield for an undisclosed fee. The 23 year old has signed a deal to the end of next season with the Spireites after seven goals in 23 Conference games this season. Gateshead are looking for a new striker target after former York man Jason Walker turned down their contract offer. The 29 year old had been training with the Heed for several weeks.
