Despite forecasting more rain over the next couple of days, the BBC weather site is predicting much dryer weather for Wednesday and Thursday in the Stroud area.
From Tuesday night onwards the forecast is for dry weather with some sunshine, particularly on Wednesday. The dryer weather is accompanied by winds from the southwest and west, which should help to clear moisture from the New Lawn pitch.
Sunny intervals on Thursday should continue to help while the evening between 6.00pm and midnight expected to be dry but partly cloudy.
Kick-off at The New Lawn on Thursday is scheduled for a 7.30 pm start with the game being shown live on BT Sport.
It is expected that the game will be shown live on the screens in Addison’s from 7.00 pm.
