Alfreton's 1-1 draw with Lincoln keeps them third, with Barnet still fourth after a 1-0 home loss to Gateshead, who are up to sixth. Nuneaton are fifth after a 2-0 win over mid-table Welling. Kidderminster's faint hopes of a play-off spot faded further after a goalless draw with Wrexham. Tuesday's opponents Grimsby have four points to make up to the play-offs, with up to five games in hand, after their 1-1 draw at Macclesfield.
At the foot of League Two, Torquay are now 10 points adrift of safety after a 1-0 home loss to Fleetwood. Northampton are six short after a 1-1 draw at Scunthorpe with target clubs Accrington and Wycombe both winning.
